ABOUT ME

I have lived in Vietnam for over 15 years and photographed every major region. I specialize in the north and the terraced rice fields. I have a deep local knowledge of Mu Cang Chai. Hoang Su Phi, and Sa Pa. Traveling the country on an dual-sport motorcycle allows me to get to places few know about.

My photography experience includes everything from large format film, medium format film and digital and mirrorless cameras. I have had a number of gallery exhibits in New York and Maine where I previously lived including selection for the Main Museum of Art biennial. I have a great passion for printing including historic methods like: PT/PD, Cyanotype, Van Dyke, etc.

I am available for private and small group motorcycle photography tours. I am in the north annually from late August to October for the rice harvest. I am in the central and southern areas the rest of the year.
