Stage 1: Hanoi to Lao Cai, September 18-30
In the first stage we will leave Hanoi for Yen Bai and their famous terraced rice fields. We will explore the most popular and majestic rice fields of Tu Le and Mu Cang Chai. We will stay with Hmong families and have ample portrait and lifestyle photo opportunities. Then we venture into the seldom visited Northwest area of rural Lai Chau province

Stage 2: Lao Cai to Hanoi, October 1-14
For the second part of the adventure we will do a deep dive into Hoang Su Phi. These are some of the most remote areas and rice fields in Northern Vietnam. Many dirt roads and slow going travel but simply an amazing area. We will wrap up with a visit to Thac Ba Lake and conquer the Dinosaur Spine at Ta Xua.
