Saigon has a new skyscraper to guide you around the city. Appropriately named Landmark it casts an imposing presence no matter where you are in the city. Along with Bitexco it is a great reference for navigation while walking or riding.
It’s 461.5 meters high and 81-stories. It’s Vietnam’s tallest building, featuring a distinct architectural design resembling bamboo shoots reaching skyward.
There are lots of spaces inside for the public to explore:
- Levels 1-3: Retail shopping mall
- Levels 47-77: Vinpearl Luxury Hotel
- Level 79: Observation deck (Skydeck)
- Level 80-81: Fine dining restaurants and bars
The dining options include:
- Oriental Pearl (Level 66) – Asian fusion cuisine
- Blanc Restaurant (Level 51) – International dining
- Cloud 81 (Level 81) – Rooftop bar and lounge
- Cafe Landmark (Ground floor) – Casual dining
Rather than paying for the observation level grab a drink at Cloud 81. The observation deck is 300kvnd -500kvnd about the same cost as a drink.
The building connects to Vinhomes Central Park with landscaped gardens and walkways, and direct access to the Saigon River promenade. The guards may tell you no professional photographers so go with a smaller camera and no tripod. Another good place to get a nice view of the building is across the river at the water bus station in District 2.
